The Best Leather Changing Bag

Guest post by: Antonia Kraskowski

Searching for the best leather changing bag? Look no further than KeriKit’s super stylish AND practical Lennox bag. As a first-time mum, the pressure and anxiety is high with everything, even choosing something as simple as a changing bag can be a minefield. In my day job as a stylist and fashion editor, I knew I wanted something grown up and chic that wouldn’t look out of place with my wardrobe as I made the gradual return to work.

The Luxurious Lennox Leather Organiser Bag

The Lennox bag is also available in several different finishes and colours, meaning you can pick the perfect leather changing bag to complement your wardrobe and lifestyle. Available in classic colours such as black, tan and deep green leather as well as a cool snake print and embossed black croc, it was hard to pick from so many options. New shades arrived for SS22 includes bright red, olive green and a warm taupe, the ideal addition to your summer wardrobe if you’re looking for a cool leather changing bag to see you through the summer and beyond.

After mulling it over, I chose to go for the classic black pebble leather which I felt would work well with my wardrobe. The chic design of the leather changing bag is the ideal  go-anywhere bag to see me from mum life to fashion editor life and back again without having to make serious changes, because let’s face it – the juggle is REAL.

Lennox as a Work Bag

The leather changing bag’s roomy interior is big enough to hold both my laptop and baby paraphernalia, meaning I don’t have to keep switching my bag’s contents or choosing what contents need to be sacrificed, eliminating that moment when I forget to pack something during the changeover from mum to editor. This also makes it a great ladies laptop bag for when I take my tiny assistant with me to press days, shoots and meetings. The cool minimalist leather design easily passes as another designer handbag from my wardrobe but it’s the interior that really gets a gold style star from me.

Lennox as a Travel Bag

Lined with a patterned, light-coloured fabric, and with as much careful consideration given to the interior as the stylish leather exterior, it’s always easy to find what I’m looking for at all times. The multitude of pockets means I can stay organised: two elasticated compartments at each end of the bag keep baby and water bottles upright, helping to avoid spillages and any scrambling around when my little boy suddenly gets hungry, while the small zipped pocket just inside the top of the handbag is ideal for holding those all important pieces such as pens or dummies that might otherwise end up lost in the bottom of the bag. Scrambling for my keys at the front door in the rain is also no longer a thing thanks to the handy gold toned clip which keeps them in reach at all times.

For my back-to-work days, the Lennox is the ideal ladies laptop bag. With an internal slip pocket that holds both laptops and tablets up to 14 inches as well as another large slip pocket for crucial documents or notebooks on one side and smaller elasticated pockets on the other. With so many separate sections, I can keep one side business and one side baby, using the smaller pockets for nappies, a change of clothes and toys.

The Lennox bag’s flexible design means that it is also a great women’s travel bag. If you’re heading on holiday, not only will the roomy design hold all of your travel essentials but the easily adaptable multiway use means it can be worn in several different ways depending on your needs, meaning you can pack less. For the airport, the multiple pockets and pouches make it a practical women’s travel bag – keep passports safe in the interior zipped pocket, wallets and currency in the external zip pocket on the back of the bag for easy access and baby essentials in the fabric pouch, ready to whip out at the first sign of a wet nappy. The roomy interior also means that it’s perfect for all of those last minute purchases in the airport – replace your laptop with the latest glossy magazines for that golden moment when your baby finally decides to nap and you can sit in the shade with a drink and idly flip through the pages.

Customised your Lennox Shoulder bag

Whether you’re dashing through an airport to make a flight or hopping on and off the tube in town, the Lennox leather changing bag really comes into its own with the multiple ways you can wear it.

When I’m running around town, I wear the bag on my shoulder as part of a stylish outfit but when I need to go hands free because my arms are full of clothes and shoes on a shoot, I simply add the included long strap to turn the Lennox bag into a cross body bag.

But the truly clever change comes when you switch from the shoulder bag to hands-free backpack in the blink of an eye – great if you’re carrying your baby or just need your bag to be out of the way but readily available. Simply extend the long strap to its longest length and thread it through the concealed rings at the bag of the back of the leather changing bag. This quick addition converts the leather changing bag into a cool rucksack without compromising on space or style, making it a great women’s travel bag.

The Versatile Lennox

And of course, when I’m in mum mode and wrangling a buggy, the leather changing bag easily attaches to my buggy with a pair of Kerikit’s leather and Velcro clips with gold hued metal clips that mirror the luxury finish and style of the Lennox bag.

As easy as A-B-C, just wrap the Velcro backed clips over your buggy’s handlebars and use the clips to attach your leather changing bag seamlessly using the large D rings at the base of the bag’s strap. With the bag in place, it’s easy to grab toys or a water bottle while still steering your little one in their buggy when you’re on the move.

While the price may be slightly more than a regular changing bag, the many ways and uses that the Lennox bag affords make the cost per wear – from a chic leather changing bag to ladies laptop bag and finally as travel bag, this multi-use bag is a great addition to every working mum’s wardrobe.
