What’s the difference between luxury packaging and eco-packaging?

We have added the option when you check out to choose what packaging you would like.

Luxury packaging means we will send your order with the smaller items in a separate gift box and include a look book and thank you note. All of these items are still recyclable, but the package you receive may be slightly larger than the eco option.

For the eco-packaging, we will pack your small items inside your largest item to bring down the size of the box as much as possible and, therefore, minimise our carbon footprint. You will receive a thank you card and postcard.

The outer box is the same for both options.

The Honeypot Foundation

At KeriKit, we are committed to supporting women and mothers and helping to make lives easier. However, we recognise that there is one aspect of society that is often overlooked when it comes to parenting, namely, child carers.

Child carers are children who due to their family circumstances, find themselves caring for loved ones, whether that’s a parent or sibling who may be chronically ill or physically disabled. They take on adult responsibilities on a daily basis which includes feeding, washing and dressing the person they care for daily, attending to household chores and running errands which can even extend to any number of grown-up activities and responsibilities such as managing household finances and doctors’ appointments. All of this is managed around school hours, leaving little time left for their childhood.

For this reason, we are so proud to partner with The Honeypot Foundation, who offer amazing respite breaks at the 'Honeypot House' in the beautiful English countryside; along with other initiatives like the Honeypot Playbus, for young carers to have a regular break from their caring responsibilities.

"The Honeypot Children’s Charity’s vision is for every child to make the most of their one chance at childhood”

Since 1996 Honeypot has been working to enhance the lives of young carers and vulnerable children aged 5 – 12 years old. They are the only charity in the UK to provide respite breaks and on-going outreach support throughout a child’s formative years. Honeypot gives young carers a break from demanding and stressful responsibilities at home and provides a safe, nurturing environment where children at risk can develop their full potential.

KeriKit will be making a donation of £10 from every full-priced bag sold online to The Honeypot Foundation. Each donation funds time for one young carer to enjoy activities aboard the 'Honeypot Playbus', or goes towards a week-long stay at the Honeypot House. So when you support KeriKit, you automatically support young carers like Rebecca, in the video above.

We believe every child deserves to have a happy childhood and we hope to help them achieve this even if its only for a short while and #CreateASmile through this partnership.
